Leave a ReplyPhoto shoot: Summer Princess Pt1I have just received the images from my latest photo shoot Summer Princess. And I have to say I am really happy with them! I had a good feeling about this shoot. Sometimes I go to a shoot and think ‘yea I have done a good job, the images will be good’ but the other times you just know that they are going to come back and be your best work yet. On the day we didn’t start till late as Alex wanted the late evening sun. Alex and Bonnie set up the swing, adding vines and flowers from Alex’s garden, whilst I did Lizzie’s Hair and Makeup. We then set about making the head piece for Lizzie to wear… not hard at all! ha! The effect we got in the photos was so worth it though. The result… a carefree boho princess! Enjoy!!

Leave a ReplyBehind the scenes with Alex Beadon PhotographyHere are some behind the scenes photos from the portrait photo shoot I did with Alex Beadon a few weeks ago. We had a wonderful client, Laura who was a natural behind the lens. With a little help from Noel (hair) and I (makeup), Laura looked stunning in her full length black dress. After spending the afternoon being completely pampered Laura went on to have her portrait taken by Alex. Take a look at the final images on the next blog.

Leave a ReplyCinderella Bridal Shoot Part 2New images from the Cinderella Bridal shoot part 2, featured on Lovemydress.net. Check out the website for more images from the shoot! Alex wanted a strong look for Lizzie in this part of the shoot. I went with a strong dark smoky eye, to give the look a real rock chic feel. Using a black khol pencil and MAC Carbon eyeshadow, all over the lid. I then worked the pigment out to the outer corners of the eyes to give the look a winged out eye effect, bringing the eye make-up look up to date a little more. For the lips I decided to got for an neutral pinky tone Lancome French Touch L’absolu 310 from the limited edition Ultra Lavande collection worked perfectly. Kaz created Lizzies hair with really big and bouncy curls to add to the styling. Using heated rollers to create the curl, then frizing it out made her hair into mane of curls! It looked amazing! Alex then went to town with the photography, capturing the models whole look encorporated with the set styling perfectly. For more info please check out Alex’s website www.alexbeadonphotography.com

Alex invited me to be apart of this creative bridal shoot and I jumped at the chance to work with her again. This was my first large shoot working with more than a few people. It was a great day and everyone who was involved enjoyed themselves. The table decorations looked amazing and headpieces were to die for! I just can’t wait to see part 2. Check back soon to see more images.x
