Cinderella Bridal Shoot Part 2

Alex wanted a strong look for Lizzie in this part of the shoot. I went with a strong dark smoky eye, to give the look a real rock chic feel. Using a black khol pencil and MAC Carbon eyeshadow, all over the lid. I then worked the pigment out to the outer corners of the eyes to give the look a winged out eye effect, bringing the eye make-up look up to date a little more. For the lips I decided to got for an neutral pinky tone Lancome French Touch L’absolu 310 from the limited edition Ultra Lavande collection worked perfectly.

Kaz created Lizzies hair with really big and bouncy curls to add to the styling. Using heated rollers to create the curl, then frizing it out made her hair into mane of curls! It looked amazing!

Alex then went to town with the photography, capturing the models whole look encorporated with the set styling perfectly. For more info please check out Alex’s website www.alexbeadonphotography.com

Alex invited me to be apart of this creative bridal shoot and I jumped at the chance to work with her again. This was my first large shoot working with more than a few people. It was a great day and everyone who was involved enjoyed themselves. The table decorations looked amazing and headpieces were to die for! I just can’t wait to see part 2. Check back soon to see more images.x

Bridal make-up for spring

After working on a creative bridal shoot a few weekends ago, it has inspired me to write a quick blog on the top 3 things I think look beautiful  for spring.

Dewy flawless skin

Most brides like to look like a more beautiful version of themselves on their wedding day. A dewy flawless foundation base is perfect for a bridal look. Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 is a fantastic foundation to get this look! Covers all manor of sins without looking heavy at all. When I first used this I thought the consistency was a little thin, however it literally goes on like a second skin and it feels breathable and light. Add a little luminator to the contors of your cheeks, this will highlight your cheekbones giving your face more structure.

Glowing cheeks

Don’t over do it with the blusher. Use a cream blush like Nars Cream Blush in Penny Lane just to give your cheeks a little pop of colour.  Place the blush on the apple of your cheeks, this will give you a really nice flushed look. Be careful not to over do it though otherwise you could end up looking like a doll!

Nude lips

Nude lips are big this season, gives your lips a kissable look without being over done. Try MAC Lipgelee in Bubble lounge for a soft pinky nude tone.
